Black-eared Miner (Manorina melanotis)
This bird shows darker moustachial stripe, grey rump, good black facial mask and (in separate photo) no white tips on tail. It is probably therefore a reasonably pure Black-eared Miner.

Some of the wild Black-eared Miners at Gluepot show evidence of hybridization with Yellow-throated Miners. Features to look for in Black-eared Miners are: moustachial stripe darker than the throat; grey, rather than white, rump not contrasting with lower back; black mask over and behind eye and no distinct white band on tail tip.
